Our namesake
Order up: Bananas Foster
Every good guild needs a signature dish. Ours is caramelised, doused in rum and set on fire on purpose, which is roughly how we pull in dungeons.
- Caramelised bananas: the gatherers, bringing in the raw goods.
- Brown-sugar rum sauce: the crafters, turning it into something worth gold.
- Vanilla ice cream: the healers, keeping everyone cool.
- Dramatic flambé: the damage dealers. Stand back.

Day one
How to join us at launch
- Make an Alliance character on the Normal (PvE) ruleset. Forever has no realms to pick: you choose a ruleset, and everyone on Normal can group and trade.
- Install the addons from the Addons section. They take about five minutes with the CurseForge app.
- Join the Discord and ask an officer for a guild invite.
Our own addon
GoldAdvisor
GoldAdvisor reads the auction house, your bags and your professions, and tells you what to sell, craft, buy, vendor or disenchant. It also logs your fishing and lets the guild share fishing spots. It never buys, posts or mails anything by itself: every action is your own click.
Plan
Today's to-do list: sell, craft, buy, vendor, hold. At the auction house, pick a line, press Check price, then Post or Buy. Buys above the plan's maximum are refused.
Loot
For everything in your bags: vendor it, auction it or disenchant it, with gold totals. The same advice shows on item tooltips.
Auction
Search any item for live prices and seller counts. Scan the whole auction house with the GA Scan button (every 15 minutes).
Fishing
Every catch is logged with zone and spot. Mark good pools, get TomTom waypoints, and swap spots with guildmates.
Characters
Gold, professions and recipes for all your characters, in one place.
Diagnostics
A launch checklist and an error log. If something looks wrong, copy the report and send it to us.
Install
- Download GoldAdvisor.zip (version 0.4.0) and unzip it.
- Move the
GoldAdvisorfolder intoWorld of Warcraft/_forever_/Interface/AddOns/(the client folder name may differ). - Restart the game. At character select, open AddOns, enable GoldAdvisor and tick Load out of date AddOns if asked.
- In game, click the gold coin on the minimap, or type
/ga.
First day checklist
Open the Diagnostics tab. Each line marked -- tells you what to do:
- Open your bank, any vendor, and each profession window once per character.
- At the auction house, click GA Scan and keep the window open until it says Scan saved.
- Post one cheap item at each listing length. That measures deposits and durations on this server.
Where the advice comes from
Scanning, searching, fishing, spot sharing and the checklist work on their own. The Plan and Loot advice comes from a small Python script that turns your scans into prices and recommendations. It runs on your PC after you play: python scripts/plan.py, then /reload. Ask in Discord if you want help setting it up.

Keep it tidy
Use one interface suite (EllesmereUI) and one layout tool (its Unlock Mode). Two addons that both move your frames will fight each other and clutter the screen.

Where to run
Dungeons by level
Every dungeon in WoW: Forever, from Hall of Thanes at 13 to Upper Blackrock Spire at 60. Enter your level to see what fits. Forever cut XP from dungeon mobs and raised it for dungeon quests, so run each one once with its quests.

Bars run from level 10 to 60.
Raids open December 9
Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit and Onyxia's Lair, all at level 60.
